I was the main cook at Camp Mozumdar for several years. I enjoyed supplying the food for the staff and workshop attendees for the weekend seminars and the seven day and longer workshops.

I started cooking when I was attending one of the workshops at the camp. During my week-long workshop, the cook was reassigned and I volunteered to take over cooking when no one else stepped up. I had a Joy of Cooking cookbook and a calculator and I learned how to scale recipes made for a family to feed 20 to over a hundred guests at the camp.
